GIRL POWER is FREE for DATTA Vic members. It's an all-girl workshop held at Mount Alexander College, and it's designed to get your female students engaged in STEM. Teachers and students will work with DATTA Vic to learn how to build, program and compete with robots.

Recognising excellence in Australian design, the Rigg Design Prize is the highest accolade for contemporary design in Australia. The triennial prize is awarded to an Australian design practice displaying outstanding creative achievements in contemporary design.

Meet Museum Victoria’s Senior Communication Designer, Jacob Tolo. Born in Samoa, Jacob was raised and studied Graphic Design in Auckland New Zealand. Having worked in publishing, advertising and a variety of design studios in both Auckland and Melbourne, Jacob also has a background in curating, making and exhibiting.

To celebrate Design and Technology Week enjoy a guided walk through the Rigg Design Prize 2018 led by an NGV Educator, followed by a presentation from shortlisted designer Danielle Brustman about her design practice and her submission for the Rigg Prize.

Design, video games, and STEM come together in this pop-up arcade showcasing original video games created by grade 5-12 students.
